Kerala
Remembers
A muralled memory pressed into every bottle — the temples, the tides, and the slow patience of the backwater. Vezhambal keeps them all.
A heritage poured, not manufactured.

I. The Bird
The bird that names the spirit.
In the forests of the Western Ghats, the Vezhambal — the Great Hornbill — is regarded as the guardian of the canopy, a symbol of fidelity and long memory.
We borrowed its name, its poise, and its patience. Every bottle carries the bird as its crest — grape, grain, and leaf braided around it in the manner of old Kerala temple murals.
III. Kerala, Distilled
Temples, boats, and the long backwater — a single ink line.

V. Provenance
Kerala remembers.
The distillery listens.
Vezhambal is distilled in the United Kingdom to a Kerala recipe first written down in 1741 — a small-batch spirit finished slowly, and only released when the hornbill, in effect, nods.
